"Great views from the top!! 1 mile hike to the top of the falls. Mostly paved trail. Should still wear good shoes for hiking up the 11 switchbacks."
"Multnomah Falls is in full spring run off. Mornings are breathtaking, peaceful and less touristy. We did some photography and videography of this area and this morning we visited has us speechless and not dissapointed, the beauty of the PNW amazing waterfall on the Columbia River Gorge. Spring is the time of year to visit!"
"Obvious why it is visited by more than 2 million people every year, making it the most visiting site in the Pacific Northwest, with this incredible 620 ft dual falls water drop wedge between two basalt cliffs. The historic bridge built in 1914 is one of the most recognized bridges that symbolizes the Multnomah Falls The hike to the upper observation deck, a paved trail with 11 switchbacks, is well worth it and additional side trails to the west allow the viewing of a additional incredible falls cannot begin to recommend this place enough. I absolutely fell in love with it"
"Spectacular and majestic! If you don’t hike all the way to the top of the falls, at least walk up to the bridge over the lower falls for a great up close experience of the upper falls. Great gift shop, and the visitor center while small, has interesting information about the falls and gorge’s formation, surrounding flora and fauna, and brief history of the falls from the late 18th century to present."
"Fantastic! I was on a 2,500 mile drive and stopped on a whim. I’d seen pics of this falls but didn’t realize it was in my route. I spent a small amount of time because I had a schedule to keep. There was still some snow that drifted over the trail. It had been shoveled enough to get to the bridge but not to the top of the falls. Even if you have 20 mins, make sure to stop and see it! (The exit is on the LEFT side and there’s a tunnel to get under the eastbound lanes)"
