"Absolutely stunning. The trail leads you through a variety of different "zones" or landscapes, as you travel through reptilian to forest edge, etc. Unfortunately, most of the placards that were installed to explain which territory you are in are extremely weathered, rendering them all but useless. Aside from that, you will see beautiful views of the opalescent creek, moss covered trees and, if you're lucky, some very rare purple trilliums."

"3 miles round trip. Nice moderate hike for the family through our beautiful green forest over the creek and cute footbridges."

"Beautiful sights, super magical, not at all crowded, and great beginner hike. Most of the trail is pretty narrow— I’m not a parent but I wouldn’t say it’s a kid-friendly hike."

"Beautiful place, only 4 starts because the main trail wasn't as long as I'd like. Wish there were more places to get close to the water. Mosquitos were very prevalent as soon as you stop moving! Will still definitely go back to explore the designated "hiking" trails which looked to be a bit more physically demanding than I was able to handle today. Will bring my bus repellant next time!"

"Beautiful trail that's unfortunately completely covered in poison oak. Contrary to other suggestions, it was not great for dogs and kids. Constant watching out for poison oak and keeping them in the center of the trail. If you are hiking by yourself, it would be a different story. If you come with little kids or pets that you care about, prepare to be on guard the entire hike."
