"This is my favorite park to go to. It's one of the best things in Salem during nice summer days, but people need to keep an eye on their kids. The river swallows children every year, and I've seen a man taking pictures of young girls in the parking lot. Today, there were 3 separate incidents of children getting lost, and the police even had to be called out. The last one I had a child around 3 follow me to my car, and my girlfriend had to walk him to his mother, who didn't even notice he was gone. My girlfriend and I spent an hour looking for someone's child who made it all the way to the other side of the park. Don't yall know there are people that steal children to sell them? It's upsetting to see that social media is so important you cant keep an eye on your own kids. Pay attention because the river itself is dangerous."

"Grr8 place to enjoy the day or sunset....This is a beautiful water front park. Brings the kids or the dogs. It has a children's water park, playground, carasoul and paths, also an open field for a pinic. A romantic spot to take the lady for looking over the river and watch the sunset. The bridge allows you to take hike, walk or bike on over to Minto park (But that's another review). Enjoy your time...."

"A really beautiful small park to come and relax with your family. It was well taken care of and it felt safe. I also seen people have dogs so it’s dog friendly. Seen people riding bicycles so brings your too and have fun for a few hours here."
