"This is a magnificent place to stop. It’s a little tricky getting parking but once you do find a space to park and have sturdy shoes on, it is a beautiful place to walk while the tides out at your own risk inside the rock. An amazing photo opportunity. In the afternoon when the tide comes back in, it is still magnificent and the birds are on the other rock and a few times I have been able to take a photo of the condors, ravens, and once an eagle. If you’re traveling up, the coast will make fantastic photos. Again, wear sturdy shoes, and watch for slippery rocks."

"Great spot for some fun looking (mini mountains) in the water. Parking is simply a wide pull off spot on the side of the road. If you are going down to the rocky beach area, be careful as you have to walk down the two-lane highway a short distance to cross the road. You then have to climb over the guardrail and walk over the railroad tracks then climb down the rocky bank. If you are not up for the short walk/climb, you can take pictures with a higher perspective view, from the road. My photos were taken in drizzling light rain when the tide was coming in."
