"we just moved to jefferson a few months ago and couldn't wait to try out the pool. what an awesome looking water slide my boys will love this.. upon entering the pool i was informed that the arm floaties i had brought for my 4 year old could not be worn in the pool.. i now had to hold him the entire time we were in the pool.. fun right?!! .. i got over that rather quickly.. oh the slide was closed for no apparent reason. so we couldn't use that.. and when i tried to have a little fun with my 9 year old and lift him up on my shoulder and roll him off into the pool. i was told by the lifeguard that i was not allowed to lift my child out of the water at all!! we got straight out of the pool packed up our belongings and are NEVER NEVER going to return......... really cool set up here. if you just simply wanna get wet.. no fun allowed... your better off going down to the river !!!!"
"The park itself has been a place our family has used for years. This is the first time we have used the venue since it was rebuilt and it was perfect for needs. We had about fourth in our party and we could have a lot more. It is fully handicap accessable with one issue. The walkway from the parking area to the venue needs to be paved."
"Its a small park with swing and a couple slides. Being the only park in town I expected a little bit more, but my son enjoys going here.they have a big field to run in and some horseshoe pits. They also have a large chess board, but I am not sure how exactly you would utilize it. Overall for a small town it is decent, but would be utilized more if it had a little more for the kids."
"There were two families renting the park for birthday parties. One family was able to rent the pool for the entire day, so our handful of kids had to go without. Also watched several small families get turned away from the pool. Did not think it was fair, especially to the public being turned away."
