"Many owners fear a visit to the emergency vet, and we may not all share the same experience with the unfortunate circumstances that may take place. However, I have been in the veterinary field for over two years, and cannot speak higher in regard to the treatment my family, my dog, and I received from the staff and especially Dr. Kristin Peterson. Compassionate care, support, and treatment doesn’t explain it well enough. She probably saw well over 10 patients before us, and many more to follow, yet we felt she gave us devoted, personal time. We had to say goodbye to our family dog of 15 years, Lady. An unavoidable, unbearable decision, that was supported by the doctors and staff who knew what pain we were feeling. I hope nobody has to share this exact experience, but I hope all that come here get the same treatment we did. Thank you, Wilvet and Dr. Peterson for your care."

I am still very thankful for the level of real compassion I felt from Tobias, Stetson, and Dr. Gray. Stetson went above and beyond helping me, even standing in the rain multiple times communicating with me in my truck. Dr. Gray was incredible. Her level of competency and the way she approached us, somehow made everything OK. I was lost in a whirlwind but knew right away that I trusted her. She explained things repeatedly to me, even wrote things down, and was incredibly patient. I know she wanted the best for my pup. The combined effort of this incredible team, made everything OK. I appreciate never being rushed, always encouraged to take our time, and the quiet room. My gut feeling had us driving past the normal emergency vet we use, to Wilvet.
