Walmart Supercenter

"22 self check registers closed off. Very slow checkers. Just came in to buy an apple for lunch and couldn't. Frustrating.. When I spoke to an employee she said it's because the number of thefts. Punishing the many for the actions of a few undermines trust, creates resentment, and can lead to a negative environment. Instead of punishing everyone for the actions of a few, it's more effective to address specific behaviors or individuals responsible while promoting a positive and supportive atmosphere for the majority."

"Apparently food safety standards are ignored at Walmart on Turner road. Obviously the manufacturer has safety issues, but why did it end up on a Walmart refrigerated shelf, picked by Walmart employees, and bagged and packed into my car at the Walmart grocery pickup? Food safety is everyone's concern, but clearly its not the case at Walmart."

"I was going through a self checkout and saw an older, fragile-looking woman having trouble checking out nearby. She tried for several minutes, while 3 young customer service people stood watching her a short distance away. I couldn't believe it. I got disgusted and went to help. She said she was 102. I helped her check out and left the store, furious at those 3 people standing there not offering to help the woman. Do young people understand customer service?? Why weren't those employees trained to assist customers AT ALL TIMES? Isn't that their #1 priority! This Walmart is on Turner Rd in Salem, OR. ALL employees at that store should be required to undergo a day of training in customer service. If it doesn't occur to you to assist a 102-year-old woman who is obviously having trouble, what the &#$! are you there for???"

"This is the worst Walmart I have ever seen. The employees are rude and refused to answer any of my question when I needed help to find anything in this Messy disgusting store. Plus the layout of the store is a headache and confusing. They don't have stuff where they say it is. Where it says baby diapers it has car parts. When I was looking for men's shoes it had baby shoes instead NEVER COMING BACK."

"Walmart has a good selection of things at low prices. This Walmart was pretty clean. I do prefer Winco for grocery shopping but Walmart has some things that Winco doesn’t. Specifically lower calorie options for certain foods and more options for things like deodorant, lotions, body care ect."
