Their price was reasonable and we got the 0% financing and had it installed all within 1 week. We had an issue they responded immediately and took care of the issue at no charge. I highly recommend them."
"We bought a new furnace from Mahalo and was installed in our newly built house and used about 6 months, (one season) and would not shut off. Called them and they said parts are under warranty, but not labor and so they charged us $179. to come LOOK at it and said needed parts as the defective part had a crack in it and ordered some other parts that we were told defective. Then charged us another $300.00 for labor and I was asking why when we paid them for a new furnace and already paid them for a non defective heating system. Now they insisted we pay them again for something we already paid for that they installed.. Response was totally negative and the gal working even suggested we take it up with the parts manufacturer! Crazy! Would not consider it at all that if the shoe was on the other foot they would want it fixed too. A warranty yes, for a non defective piece of equipment I can see, but they sold us defective and then charged us to repair it! Sort of a sham! We went without heat for nearly two weeks and my husband is 85 years old, and I in my 70’s. Seems like we were taken advantage of. We made a central vac purchase from them as well, and now so miffed that I would never buy nothing ever again from Mahalo."
"Recently, our central heating and air system stopped working so we needed to find an HVAC company to help us. Many of my friends recommend Mahalo so I decided to give them a try. A woman named Angela answered my phone call. She took down my information and said someone from the scheduling department will call me back within a day or two. After waiting two full days with no response, I decided to contact another company. They gave me an appointment immediately for the next day. I wasted two full days waiting for Mahalo’s response. An upfront answer that they were too busy or even a call back within the promised time would have been appreciated."
"Future customers beware before you spend 219$ on nothing! Our A/C was not blowing cold air, so we called for service. A technician came out and told us he thought it was a hose that needed to be replaced. That day we were told the tech could not get a hold of Lennox on the phone. We have been waiting for a follow up call since 6/30/23 and we have heard nothing from Mahalo. Today we called we were told the part is no longer available. Instead of Mahalo trying to find a part that is compatible with our unit, we are now waiting for person from sales to call us about a price for a new unit. This is way to common for businesses in Douglas county. Instead of trying to help customers and do a little work to hunt down a part they want to take the easy way out, up sale people and take advantage of them. This is not right, make it right."
"Shout out to the super fast response from Michael coming out to diagnosis an issue. Sadly, the whole system needed to be replaced. He didn't sugar coat or over embellish what was needed. He even heard about my childs medical issues and told us about a specialty filter to help her. The whole crew showed up within a week-On TIME- to replace the entire system. The contract was straightforward and they even got all the permits and scheduled the electrician. I literally had to do nothing. They worked through the hot sun, leaving no trace behind and never complained or had grumpy faces. Having a system go out in the middle of summer is very painful- but working with Michael and the crew made this a seamless transaction! Highly recommended!!!"
