"Love Raining Cats & Dogs. This is an awesome store that carries greats cat & dog theme items and gifts."
"The store itself is very cute, however we didn’t see much of it before leaving. Apparently there is a rule against photos being taken in the store. There are small, easy to overlook signs on the door to this effect, but those are the only signs we saw, and only when we were actively looking for them. My daughter saw a pair of socks she thought her sister (who lives out of state) would like, and not realizing there was a rule against in-store photography, she took a picture of them. It was an honest mistake, none of us noticed the warnings against in-store photos, and she’s not the kind of girl to blatantly disregard rules. The woman behind the counter (older, short grey hair), in the snottiest tone of voice you can imagine, says “you realize there are signs everywhere telling you not to take pictures in the store.” My daughter felt terrible, she immediately put her phone away and tried to apologize, but the very rude worker shot her a withering look of disdain and walked off. I realize these are trying times. I know teenagers in general can be a pain in the butt. I know we broke a rule. All of that said, there was absolutely no excuse for this woman’s behavior towards a young girl who made an honest mistake. She could have politely pointed out the photography rule; instead she chose to be rude from the start. As a family of animal lovers, with a huge extended family of animal lovers, she could have made a killing off of us, but she clearly didn’t want our business so we left. I would stay far away from this store, which has cute stuff but is quite overpriced. If you choose to go, remember the golden rule: don’t take pictures of the merchandise."
"The store is more than a pet supply. It stocks unique gifts focusing on furry faced children. We bought a dachshund weather vane for our home at a reasonable price."
"Went into store with my family and a friend. Woman behind counter rudely told my niece (27 yrs old) to put her opened soda on the counter. My friend, who had been in the store for several minutes before us and was ready to buy something said "we'll just leave". As we walked out the woman snidely said "better choice anyway". We walked away but I chose to return without my 8 year old. I went back in and told the woman that I didn't appreciate her comment and felt she was rude and disrespectful to us. She said our comment was rude. I walked out and told her that we would be reviewing the store and her attitude."
"Brought the family out just to enjoying a beautiful day in Old Town Florence. Couple of my kids thought it would be nice to go into it's raining cats and dogs, my younger touched one of the glass dogs, and was told by the store representative that if he could not afford it don't touch it. I went in to find out exactly what happened, and asked if my kids were being rude. I was told no, but that had been a lot of breakage, so her boss told to tell kids that if they can't afford it don't touch it. I suggested to her that instead of making somebody feel less than, she might want to just say please don't touch that. Her response was that I should keep better control of my children. If this is how she treats all kids, I can't imagine ever bringing anyone I know there or even supporting that business in any way, shape or form."
