"She was a supportive and helpful presence for a number of years before completely switching gears on me with very little forewarning. What was once open dialogue became dictation regarding what choices I should be making and how I was screwing up my own mental health. There was little explanation for why this sudden shift. The shift led to my eventually terminating sessions in a manner that left me feeling incredibly distrustful of future mental health practitioners. I never received a proper explanation for why she changed her approach in behavior with me, which led to years of wondering what I did wrong without the possibility of ever receiving an answer. I would not recommend working with her. Far from taking positives away from my years of work with her, I now feel intense anxiety when I think about what transpired in the last months of our sessions. She continues having a severe negative influence even years after officially terminating treatment with her."
