"Great place for massages! Signing up is easy. I've had a massage get cancelled 3 hours before it was supposed to occur, but was able to sign up with another student a couple hours before. The package of 5 massages is a great deal. You sign in at the front desk and wait in the chairs. You're then taken into a room with regular tables, sit across from your massage student and discuss what you'd like worked on for 5-10 minutes. Then you're taken to the back room which has a lot of massage tables separated by curtains. You're given a few minutes to undress as much as you're comfortable with, and get under the covers on the table. You're offered oil or lotion. They also have hot packs and bolsters for under your legs. After the massage you return to the first room with tables and give feedback to the student for a few minutes. Parking is easy. There is a garage connected to the building (entrance is on SW Market Street). Parking is $6 for 2 hours if before 5pm. Park on the 2nd floor to get to the elevators, and take them to the 4th floor to the massage clinic. The college isn't able to validate for free parking. There is also street parking but that can be tricky as the building is surrounded by one-way streets and some no-parking streets."

"Let me start by saying I’ve never gone to a massage school to get a massage, but I just might start after this visit. I was invited by a friend who is about to graduate and it was a very unique experience. I started the visit with telling the student about what I wanted to focus on, what I liked, and anything that was causing me problems. They took detailed notes and even offered some tips that would help me at home. Then I was taken back in a big room with individual curtains separating teach guest and their massage. I have to say that was the only thing that I didn’t really enjoy because you could hear everything. They did have calming music playing but at times it was drowned out by the conversations either before or after the massages. However, once the massage started it was immediately put into this relaxing state and everything else just faded away."

"The East West College is located near the convention center and near public transit stops for the max and street cars. There is metered parking surrounding the block that the school is located on as well. They have a shop where you can purchase East West College of the healing Arts merchandise as well as oils and lotions. I am not a student for this college but I do take advantage of the student massages held on the third level of the college. The massages are 30$ and in the state of Oregon students aren’t allowed to accept tips. This is a great deal and very reasonable compared to other massages that I received from more expensive places! I have had a couple different therapists and they all have different styles which I really appreciate. The massage starts with you checking in with the receptionist, Nikki is very professional and sweet, they give you paperwork to fill out which then your therapists comes out and discusses it with you checks in with there professor then they come get you to start your massage. The massage room is dim and has soothing music playing. Each room has a bed and a curtain to block you off from others. You can occasionally hear other therapist speaking to their clients but it’s minimal. The massage lasts for 40-50 mins depending on how fast you get through paperwork! At the end you help the therapist/student let them know what you liked and didn’t like and fill out a worksheet expressing how the massage went. All in all massages are great and it’s great to support these therapists along there journey to become a licensed therapist. To sign up just go on there website and create an account! Boom! ;-)"

"Having been both a student and a client at this college and massage clinic I can confidently say that this is the place to go! All the staff are phenomenal and therefore the students are great as well. You can get a quality massage for a great price and have the opportunity to write feedback for the massage students that can shape their future massages. I had a wonderful experience with a lady who was very patient and professional, yet friendly. I will be going back to experience more massages from these students for their unique skills and insights."
