"Bad service, I went to do my background check for purchasing a rifle. I chose H & K Gun Shop, thinking we should support local businesses. Last time, im going there. The older gentleman who was helping snapped at me for having wasted a piece of paper for my fingers prints just for not doing it correctly, apparently. Boy!! he was furious at me. I'm very much offended by his attitude to me. I hate to say it. But I believe it was my dark skin for being Hispanic."

"Small time shop with friendly service. Had fun chatting with owner while filling out paper work I had a stripped lower sent here but it is rather expensive and timely, even with a CCW. They do it all by paper so if you're in a rush this is not the spot for you. Was able to pick up the lower the next day. $45 fee + $10 background check."

He is extremely knowledgeable, like a human encyclopedia for guns. He runs a great small town business. He also builds amazing hunting rifles. Tons of used rifles and shotguns in stock. If there is something you want that he doesn't have he will help you with the process to order it. Even if you don't live in the Forest Grove area he is well worth the drive."
