"Stopped here by accident and I'm glad I did!! It was one of the most peaceful and beautiful places I have ever been to. I got there when it closed, at 6 pm. It smelled good whatever they were cooking/selling. I'm definitely going back when it is open for business."
"Awesome place to come! While there's not a play structure available the river access is spectacular. The Milo market is so fun to visit as well."
"While it's neither old nor historic, it was built in 1962 and spans 100' across the South Umpqua river. It is actually made of steel, with a wooden housing. The structure was built to replace an original covered wooden bridge from 1920. The entrance toa beautiful school and grounds"
"I'm a 1970 graduate of Milo. The most beautiful place on earth. Loved this bridge. It led to a lifelong pursuit of covered bridges far and wide."
"This bridge is at the entrance to the Milo Academy (an Adventist high school). It's a bit rickety, but drivable even though the sign says 'drive at your own risk'. The original 1920 bridge was rebuilt in '62 with a steel deck. Later locals added the wooden housing for aesthetics."
