"Beautiful house and grounds with Columbia county history on display throughout. Also, dolls, lots of dolls. Thank you to the wonderful hosts for the personal tour!"
"I was a vendor in a Christmas bazaar arranged, organized and wonderfully executed by the DAR ladies of Caples House. It was truly one of the best events I've ever attended, made so because the facility is very nice, though just as much because of the very delightful ladies hosting the event. I rate the facility and hostesses a 10, not a 5!"
"This day today was a day that was their holiday bazaar it was free entry. A variety of things to buy wood, metal wall hangings, made leather purses, and more. Beautiful little cottage where you could buy food to eat chili, chili dogs, coffee, sodas, water, chips, pie, desserts very inviting. Colleen was very nice serving us our food. I went with two friends. We looked at the trees in the yard. There were apple trees & plum trees that were planted. They are approximately 130 years old. The yard was perfectly manicured & very well kept. We really enjoyed ourselves today!"
"Came to this place for my ex wife's wedding, its a cute place and a very nice area right off the Columbia River. Neat to see where the first doctor of the area lived who traveled here during the 1800s. Its small and I'm not sure what is really showed during the museum part of it since we were in the social building. There is a big garage and a couple smaller buildings. The social building is fairly small as well. I feel a museum tour would only take mere minutes though judging the size of everything."
"Absolutely beautiful wedding venue at an unbelievable rate. Tables, chairs, dishes and silverware included! So happy I found this hidden gem for my wedding!"
