"I’ve only lived here since October, but I can say it’s a pretty nice place to live. My neighbors are great, management does their best to stay on top of - if not ahead of - problems, and maintenance requests are often handled same-day. Little touches like new elevators programmed to always have a car waiting on the first floor and automatic air fresheners in the trash rooms (that smell remarkably like fruit loops, btw) enhance the experience. Honestly, there are some downsides: the water pressure could be better, getting an additional bill for common area electricity is rather ridiculous and parking in this area is atrocious. Still, it’s a nice place to live in a very walkable part of town."
"Spacious apartment with lots of natural light from the windows, as well as a good view with lots of trees. Front desk has always been helpful and responsive, Matthew is very kind. The location is great, I am able to bike everywhere I need. It does get noisy at times but overall grateful for this space."
"waaayyy too expensive. and recently stopped including utilities in the rent while raising it at the same time. So they added $250 on top of what was already a crazy high rent for what you are provided with here. Used to like this place when we first moved in but its just not worth it anymore. Why am i paying for the buildings lighting ? i never hang out in the lobby, there are homeless people in there. The least Avenue5 could do is pay for their own damn heating and electricity. If anyone is looking for a lease takeover let me know"
"Do not recommend. Highly overpriced, if the apartment rent doesn't get you, the $70 for parking, $100 a month for "Community utilities", and $4 per load of laundry will. Even if you CAN afford it, maintenance requests never get done unless an absolute emergency (even then it's still days) and the tiny elevators you can barely fit yourself into never work. Have a maintenance request that is on 10 months and counting. What a joke."
