"I was moving from Harrisburg up to Portland and I was going to rent a U-Haul at this location. But upon meeting the people who seemed to be running the place out of the barn. Who looked blitzed out of their mind I decided maybe that wasn’t the best idea. I wouldn’t recommend renting from this place"
"Very very sketchy and they never answered my phone calls- or called back-after calling 4+ times so I could verify my reservation. When I arrived it wasn’t clear where I was supposed to go to check in. I’m honestly surprised that u-haul let’s them be a dealer with how sketchy the location (someone’s house) is and how the customer service is. I would recommend getting your equipment elsewhere."
"When I picked up my trailer, they signed the contract on my behalf. I was never shown the contract while I was picking up the trailer and I later received an email with the contract that they had signed for me. They had also added rental coverage that I was charged for that I never agreed to. Completely unacceptable to sign a legal contract on someone else’s behalf."
"Turn East off Ivy onto 16th, it’s on the right. The people who run it are mostly hands-off —returning a truck happens through the website —, but they can help if you need something."
