"Adorable house to rent. Perfect for families with one double bed & a futon."
"Was much more relaxing than any hotel room...I highly recommend here"
"The Carriage House is nice and clean, but I was disappointed in how it’s managed and had issues with a couple of things: 1. First, the house was advertised to offer free wifi, but when I got there I discovered it did not have wifi at all. Instead there was a sign telling you to drive to Safeway for free wifi. 2. I also didn’t feel that it was fair how the nightly rate was handled. The rate advertised was for $100 per night for 1-2 persons, if only one bedroom is used – and $125 per night for 3-4 persons, if the 2nd bedroom is used. I stayed 2 nights, with only 1 person on Friday – and a second person joined me on Saturday night who used the second bedroom. I was expecting the charge to be $100 for Friday night and $125 for Saturday night, but Patti said that the additional $25 did not cover the added expense of one more person for the cost of the extra laundry for sheets and towels. She wanted to charge me $125 for both nights, but we finally settled on $100 for Friday and $130 for Saturday, which I still don’t feel was fair. The $100 should have covered the cost of 2 people as far as the towels were concerned – and the additional $25 would more than cover the additional cost of washing one more set of sheets. 3. Last, while I was out on Saturday, somebody came into the house. I could tell because all of the blinds had been opened. I don’t feel that’s right to do in a non-emergency situation, unless the owner has made it known to the renter that someone will be randomly entering the home, which it was not. Again, the house it’s self is nice enough, but I think that they need to work on a couple of things in regards to how it is managed."
