"The park itself is very nice- a 5 star rating! It is close to the beach, walking distance to Nye Beach shops and restaurant. The park is very clean and nice. The manager gets a 1 star rating. My Dad lived there for 10 years and when he died, his estate went into probate so I wasn’t able to immediately remove his RV until I got court approval. The manager immediately unplugged his utilities before talking to us so when and we got there everything was turned off. She probably did this to save a few dollars on utility costs, but it was dark when we had a friend go there to lock up the place the day he died. It just seems greedy and inconsiderate to unplug the utilities the day of being notified of his death- all to save a few dollars. We worked with her and continued to pay rent and utilities for several months while we worked through the probate processes and got court permission to sell his rv and vehicles. They only take checks and no electronic payment, and she didn’t send invoices for utility fees until after the end of the month so there is a very small window to get the check to her on time. Because we were waiting for the utility cost from her to tack on to the rent costs, and had to mail in a check, we were a few days late once (I believe the check still made it there by the 10th or 15th of the month) and she tacked on a late fee. This woman was very greedy, insensitive, and difficult to work with during a hard time. I feel bad for anyone who has to deal with her. The park itself is great and I believe this management is fairly new."
