"Absolutely beautiful location!! Our room faced the Pacific Ocean and the sound of the waves crashing was serene. There was an abundance of wildlife, we were able to see several bald eagles cruising the coastline in search of food. The front desk and staff were amazing, they offered Salmon Chowder at 5:30pm to the guest, 7pm came with the best Lemon cookies I’ve ever tasted and most of all, they were willing and able to work through a problem, no cause on their part, but kept our room for us, as we were delayed due to a vehicle accident."

"This is our 3rd stay. We love this place with complimentary breakfast, free salmon chowder at 5pm and free cookies at 7pm daily. Love the view and room were renovated. Just having problem with the toilet not flushing well."

"Stingy and inconvenient - this place is a bit overrated. The best thing about it is the location and the ocean view. Otherwise, they ration everything. When we arrived for a two night stay, the bathroom had only two half-used rolls of toilet paper and one Kleenex box with only about four or five tissues left in it. It had just two tiny 10 inch tall trash cans in the entire unit and they filled up very quickly since you had to bring your rationed breakfast up to your room because the breakfast room was being renovated. Not enough hand towels and no towel bars to put them on. Very disappointing."

"A very nice place to stay. Awesome view. A bit of a walk to the beach, but so worth it. Staff was amazing, & so was the 5:00 PM Salmon Chowder. We never made it to the free cookie at 7:00 PM however. The continental breakfast was adequate & balanced. Rather stuffed from dinner the night before so it was just the right amount of food. Very clean & tastefully decorated. And our dog loved it too."

"they had only one room available when we arrived (thank goodness). This hotel and staff are amazing. we got a beautiful room with two king beds, a fireplace and a private patio overlooking the ocean on the fourth floor for just over $280. I don’t know what the other rooms are like but room 430 is perfect for the price. There is not a phone in the room, so make sure you have the number to the front desk in case you need anything. They have free breakfast in the morning that includes but not limited to breakfast sandwiches, yogurt, fruit cups, packaged muffins, oranges, cereal, coffee, hot, chocolate, etc. we loved this location and hotel and staff so much that we decided to stay another night. Do NOT make the mistake of checking out the Shiloh next door like we did, it will be a true waste of your time."
