"Slow and hypnotic, an esoteric slide along the coast with such subtle rocking to and fro, that soon I began to slumber and then to dream. I dreamt of an era bygone, coal faces, and millions of miles yet unpolluted by man’s clumsy expansion of the west. Air, clear, and filled with a million scents long gone from a fading world. I awoke to the jostle of the trainman’s whistle. Go… feel alive again."
"First off, my GPS took us to the Garibaldi location and it happened to multiple other people too, so just be forewarned. We were 15 minutes late, but fortunately they hadn't left yet. We did the Fall Splendor Excursion. The coast doesn't really have a lot trees that change color in the fall, so don't go expecting to see a splendiferous array of colors. We had seats in the Historic Wilson River Car, which is enclosed but has an opening at the front, so be prepared for cold weather. You are face to face with the people in the seats opposite you and not a lot of room for knees. Overall, had a nice time. Pretty views. Get a seat on the water side if you can, because the train goes in reverse and you don't loop around to switch sides."
"We had so much fun! Thank you guys so much."
"Great place to launch your Kayak. I'll be back with kayak sometime soon."
