Reviews
"Dr. Leong prescribes heavy medications like they're candy. Someone close to me is a patient of his and is continually prescribed Adderall, Ativan, and Wellbutrin. The patient has had NUMEROUS episodes of psychosis, paranoia, and even hospitalizations. I have called and left messages with Leong's office pleading them to better monitor the medications but he just keeps on prescribing them. I am afraid for his patient's life. He is just medicating, not providing true psychiatric help!!"
"After decades of working with different physicians and mental health professionals, Dr. Leong hit the target. He is the first psychiatrist that I have met that identifies the symptoms instead of naming the disease so he can give medication that hit the mark instead of following what the pharmaceutical reps says how to use the medicines for different diagnoses. He is perceptive, a diagnostic physician and very pleasant to see and work with. I have never felt better and emotionally level instead of having a roller coaster ride. You have to work with different medicines to see how people respond and then modify them to tweak the results. Psychiatric medicines are difficult to apply and takes weeks to months before you really know how they are working and whether they need changing or adjustments. You have to ride out those first few months of trial and error."
"Dr. Leong prescribed my 22 year old daughter Prozac, Abilify, Xanax and Temazapam. He misdiagnosed her and instead of treating her anxiety caused by a year full of changes and tragedy, he gave her 4 different potent meds that have made her so ill and just lost. We are starting over with a naturopath now. This doctor should have his license revoked. I will be pursuing this."
