"FYI: The Corvallis Clinic has been purchased by United healthcare. This is a sign of the deterioration of medical care in the state of Oregon. Last October the Samaritan hospital made a point of telling Samaritan Health patients that they would no longer take United healthcare. In addition over the last 6 months we've had a different parts of the state problems with emergency rooms having to close because they don't have enough money to operate. The problem has been exacerbated by the fact that the state government keeps trying to push expenses for non-insured people onto the health system. It isn't working. If you need hip surgery you're likely to wait 7 to 8 months. If you want to see an ear nose and throat you may wait 4 to 5 months. It was never like this years ago. It's too simple to blame it on COVID-19 issues. So much of this is caused by state government and the seeking of federal aid that never comes. The Corvallis Clinic has long had a very nice intermediate care facility which has been getting overrun of late. The only ER is at Samaritan hospital which is about 200 yards away and it is often completely overrun by 8:00 in the evening. To get serious ER help at Samaritan hospital you have to basically be brought in by ambulance. Oregon is experiencing some very serious problems in numerous medical areas. In my own experience several nurses have retired because they've had enough of the long hours, one or two have left the state, doctors have gone to other hospitals, and the area is running out of dermatologists and other fields. However there is no shortage of periodontists and dentists for some reason."
"I love this clinic!! Everyone,!!! So helpful and caring!! To the staff to nurses to the physicians, to blood work personnel and councilors and whoever else i may have forgotten, you all are so great!! I feel very safe and cared for here, they are truly a work of art!! Thank you all for being who you are!!!"
"Never in my life, have I ever had such a hard time getting a hold of a scheduler. I am 10 days out, since speaking to Dr Evans about my carpal tunnel, trigger thumb surgery. I don't even get a return call after I returned her call. Office staff seems bothered if you call as well. Sorry my thumb hurts and I can't sleep because of carpal tunnel ."
"Their billing department is so incompetent that I’m starting to believe it’s by design in order to extract more money from patients over time. It’s like they only understand how to swipe a credit card, everything else is outside of their ability. Will interrupt you incessantly; like I said, it seems almost on purpose how unprofessional they are."
