"Newport Bay Motel is run by some of the nicest folks. The room was clean, modest and comfortable, and the motel is conveniently located within walking distance from both the historic bayfront and beaches. We had a great time and are happy we stayed here!"

"The property is conveniently located near downtown Newport, but that's about all the property has to offer. It was extraordinarily priced at a hefty $184.5 for one night. The rooms were super small, everything was either broken or did not work. There were COCKROACHES on the carpet!!! They have a sheet full of rules you need to follow or they will charge you, which is unfair for what this place had to offer. I have stayed in $60 motels which provided a better service than what I got out of this dump. We will surely not return."

"The first thing that hit us when we walked in was the smell. The window was wide open and there was a big fan on but the smell was still quite bad. It smelled like cigarettes and something else awful. When we took a shower, there was no way to keep the water from getting all over the floor. There was no rug, and one of the towels had blood stains on it. It was very small and we could hear everything going on next door. The price was high and it was still a dump."
