I had a huge project and needed countertops for two separate rooms (bathroom and kitchen). Victorian stone helped us out and did an incredible job. I couldn’t be happier. "I'm mystified at the 5 star rating, unless I just had a very bad run of luck with them. Bought quartzite slabs from El Mar (wonderful service there), but the install is awful in some places....mostly the backsplash. They ended up having to come back the following day to realign a backsplash corner where the two sides met; they were glaringly uneven. And the backsplash seams are very noticeable, even from a distance. Beyond that, they left personal garbage on back patio, including a drink in paper cup (coffee?) that was tipped over on a bench cushion overnight. Whatever was in the cup stained the cushion...could not wash it out. I'm leaning to asking Alpha Stoneworks (who I've used twice in the past with great results) to come and see if anything can be done about the backsplash seams that look like a kindergarten project.. Sure wish my contractor had let me go with the installer of my choice."
