Punch Bowl Social

"Food is great. Servers are great. My problem lies in their failure to let you know when private events are happening. A group of my friends had signed up for karaoke last year and we got bumped because they overbooked. I wanted to do karaoke today with the person I was with and they had a sign saying that the karaoke side opened at 5pm. But apparently it was a private event only. So annoying. Will not be going here for karaoke again. Other places are way more accommodating."

"This place USED to be awesome. I’m not sure if management changed or what but I will never be going back. Brought my friends here because it used to be a great spot to hang out, have some drinks, play a bowling game, darts, some karaoke, etc. I recently brought my co-workers there for a fun Thursday evening, and I was so embarrassed to have picked the spot. The vibes were completely different.. the bartender was rude and snobby, only 3 speakers in the Lounge worked (so we bowled in silence), it was just dead and sad. We paid $200 for bowling and drinks and left halfway through our game because it was so bad. Like I said… this place used to be a great spot to hang out and the concept is amazing but it turns out it just isn’t what it used to be anymore. I went in Mid-February 2024."

"I have visited Punch bowl Social several times and each and every time I always have a blast. This place is a great place to visit with family, friends, or even for a fun date. I have even visited with my little boy. Punch bowl Social is located downtown Portland and takes up the entire 3rd floor in Pioneer Square. It has so many things to do from bowling to arcade games, karaoke, a huge Jenga game and Connect 4. To table games and billiards and more. They have several bar stations and food available as well. Street parking available and kid friendly. Go prepared to have a great time!"

"Our office party at PBS was so much fun! Definitely recommend for a big group looking for a fun time. Josh W. is the most chill server either and he really helped make our evening great, got everyone their orders, and even fixed the karaoke machine when we couldn’t get audio, so he gets an extra star if one is available."

"Okay, I HAVE to write a 5 star review. I can only speak on the bar inside of punch bowl social, as my friends and I didn’t have much time to spend playing games. I’m only writing this because of the bartender! We went there like 3 weeks ago- and met Joshua who, in my experience was one of the sweetest, most personable waiter/ bartender that I’ve met in a while. This person for sure deserve a raise. I had kids young so I haven’t been “out” in a VERY long time and decided to go with a bunch of my other mom friends- he made me laugh, made WONDERFUL drinks, took photos for us, got us anything we needed, and made it a point to feel very welcomed and taken care of! Joshua deserve a raise, and in a time where the world is in chaos, made it feel a little normal again. I’d come back JUST for Joshua! Not to mention he makes a MEAN lemon drop!"
