Roth's Fresh Markets

"This past Saturday I used Roth’s Vista market deli and bakery for an event. They knocked it out of the park. The deli sandwiches and trays were beautiful, tasted delicious and ready for pickup exactly when requested. I was even offered help to get it to my car in driving rain. The cake I ordered was beautifully decorated exactly how I had imagined and tasted delicious. I have enjoyed shopping at Vista Market for over 40 years and I certainly will continue to. Thankyou very much."

"So disappointed in customer service under the new management. My son worked at one of these stores several years ago when they still had courtesy clerks. The last several times I've shopped at either Sunnyslope or Vista, there have been clerks/checkers standing around chatting with each other or on their phones, even though their colleague is busy ringing up someone's groceries and could use help bagging. I've literally bagged my own groceries while employees stood around chatting. Under the Roth family, those clerks would've been over helping out and bagging groceries. Tonight I was being helped by a super nice woman at the Vista store, while another checker/clerk had his nose in his phone while he stood at the end of his register past the check out. That combined with the extremely high prices and often sub-par produce are enough for me - it's Fred Meyer from now on - better all around."

"I bought their pre cooked turkey dinner for 4, it easily could have fed more came with reheating directions and was delicious!"

"A familiar theme...I was totally dismissed by bakery staff while looking at donuts/bagels. What really upset me was I was deliberately ignored because I'm older (66). I left. Then I observed another person (~30 age) after me and someone was right there to help. I'm also a medical professional and not an old stupid, ignorant person as I was treated as such. What arrogance. There are lots of other options (and better) than here. There is a reason why you never see anyone with "full" shopping carts here."

"Well I've kept my favorite lunch spot a secret long enough. I eat here 3 to 4 times a week and it's like having my own private restaurant. Whether I want amazing sushi, the best fried chicken in Salem or an unbelievable salad bar it's all right here @ Roth's IGA Vista on Commercial. They have a gorgeous solarium with glass garage doors that they open during the day. I can usually eat sushi and fried chicken for under $14. There's never any tipping and I'm usually there all by myself. The food is quick and the dining space is very nice. I thought I'd let everybody know. And seriously, where else can you have sushi and fried chicken at the same time. LOL"
