"Sept 13th, 2023 Albany, OR. The most unprofessional repair person (older, tall, skinny gentleman..... happens to be the owner of the business I later learned after calling to complain) I have ever dealt with. He was very rude as soon as I opened my door. My dog was barking and I opened the door to tell him to give me a sec to put my dog away, and before I even get a word out he sternly says you need to lock your dog up, which was the plan if I was given a half second to quiet him down so I could be heard. (I let the rudeness slide as I know repair people are nervous around dogs as not all of them are nice). He then came in and asked me questions about what was going on with my fridge, so I told him. And then he argued with me that what I said happened didn't happen. So I proceeded to tell him, yes that is what happened, and he still kept arguing no it didn't happen (he's been doing this for 40 yrs I'm informed) and said he wasn't going to argue about it and left and canceled my repair order. I told him I'm the customer and I know what I did and what the fridge did and that he needs to learn how to listen. What, like I'm going to lie about what my fridge did? How is that going to get it fixed? As others have stated, do not recommend this company."
"I had Greg come out to look at my under 1 year old speed Queen dryer he opened the door looked at it and said you have bad air flow so you need to have your dryer vent cleaned I said that wasn't the problem because I had my dryer before that worked perfectly fine it was just snagging my clothes that's why I got this one he wouldn't even look at anything else just charged me $95 and left I did call around to try to have somebody blow out my dryer vent to try that but it was costing me over $500 because they said they had to do the whole house and not just the dryer vent. Got busy with life and just delt with it for 6 months just having to dry my clothes 2 times in order for it to get dry. I ended up calling Appliance hospital recently to come out and he actually listened to me and changed the heating element and now my dryer works perfectly fine I was so not happy with the customer service that I had from B&G appliance would never recommend them to anyone!!"
"This guy is very rude. He called me at end of day and started the conversation with do not tell him what his schedule is. This appt was made with GE for a time between 8 -12. He hung up on me after I told him i willl not be talked to like he did."
"The first meeting, the contractor did not attend to all of the issues I had requested. The next time he came, was much better, however was not able to find the solution. Before pushing refrigerator back in, he pulled the tape off of the water line, which was keeping it from sagging. He pinched our water line, and we didn't have water or ice after he left. I called company and they told me I should pull refrigerator out and check to see if they had forgotten to turn the shut off valve to water line back on. There was no shut off line, however I saw the water line had been pinched and water was leaking from a hole that was punctured when the refrigerator was pushed back in and the water line bent. I called the company and they refused to take any ownership of the problem they had caused. Then they told me since I had not left it the way it was, that I had no proof they had done that. I was frustrated, but they still had not finished the work order for the microwave and the oven. They told me that the parts were allready ordered, so I decided to continue with their service until the other projects were completed, which was 2 weeks away. When the appointment arrived, they no showed. I called them to follow up and they called me back to say they would not be coming. They could have at least called to let me know. Instead of wasting my time for 2 weeks while I waited and made arrangements to have someone meet them. Poor company, would not work with them ever again."
