"Owner/Operators, avoid this shop unless you want to fight to get your truck back and then it will derate on you. Not to mention the fact they kept our truck two weeks longer than they should have! We made an appointment a MONTH early for a new radiator and an in-frame. In-frames on average take 43 hours to complete. They took a month. Parts were ordered before we left the truck. They were given specific instructions to not perform any work not covered by our after market warranty, including labor. When the final bill was tallied they charged forty dollars more per hour than warranty covered. They were instructed specifically to check the after treatment system due to the potential of oil in the filters. They only did a regen and called it good!? Very FIRST LOAD after picking up the truck the engine went into FULL DERATE in Wyoming and we barely made it to a shop, in the snow, freezing temperatures. Over $700.00 later and a force regen done on the truck by a gracious mechanic who didn't want us to freeze we finally got moving. The inframe had multiple problems, fuel leak at fuel rail, oil pan gasket leaking-not installed correctly, DEF injector full of carbon and soot, DPF filter full of carbon and soot, EJR system was not verified at all, imap sensor full of carbon, EJR full of carbon, Delta P full of carbon, diesel injector for exhaust full of carbon ( could not regen). We requested to be compensated for the derate and amount we were overcharged and did receive that however; to do even that took over a month of Pape Kenworth claiming they owed us nothing and of "all the favors" they did. Owner operators, be careful if you go here, it was the second time we have had to fight them for awful mechanical work done on our truck which cost us money and lost revenue. 'Fool me once, fool me twice' never again will we go here, for any reason."
"To be honest I do agree with the reviews that the staff in the office are above average and friendly and knowledgeable. But....it ends there. We brought a T680 in to have it completely gone through to get on the road ASAP. We mentioned the company we were leasing on to and the truck had to pass a DOT Inspection. One thing we noted is the customer service as far as keeping you up to date on progress is non-existent. We had to call everytime. Owner Operators do tend to get charged more on average but after the cams and valve train, and what we thought was a pass everywhere else we picked her up to the tune of almost 18k. The truck was driven about 2 hours away for inspection immediately and FAILED! Cracked brake lining and inner wheel seal was so bad it was leaking on brake pads. Air leak on fan clutch. Over a grand in additional repairs to pass Inspection. Upon contacting this dealer, their response was, " Well you signed the papers, we're not responsible for anything" and they refused to consider any restitution". UPDATE: After reading the review we were contacted by Pape Kenworth ( owner) and requested I phone. I did. That afternoon we received a call from Jeff at the Roseburg location. I must tell you that he was extremely concerned and reiterated that it is Pape Kenworth's policy to right any wrongs that occurred to us. Basically our faith in Kenworth has been fully restored. Jeff immediately " made things right" and did so in 24hrs. We fully understand mistakes can be made by mechanics. But Pape Kenworth has held their standards higher than other shops, which with Kenworth we have too. We have always been loyal to Kenworth and are pleased to say, they stepped up to the plate and hit a home run! Thank you again Jeff for your professionalism, it is greatly appreciated."

"I got my truck fixed here and next day same code popped up with check engine light . They charge me $3000 and replace one of the charge air cooler . They charged me $3000 for something that never got fixed. Now I am at another location getting my truck fixed for same code. Do not go to this people they are rip off."
"My name is Floyd Schrock, my experience over the road is 33 years plus owning my own company for 8 years, I need to pay the bill when the work is done, our truck needed some work, broken clamp on the exhaust, Express lube, they noticed the air drier cartridge needed replacement, and troubleshooting air bubbles in the radiator, and a few more issues, we drove 250 miles to there shop, if you can get to there shop, you will be very happy you did, Jeff Johns was in service, they're very good at listening to what you want and work very hard to make sure everything is looking good and working. This is my number 1 place for all my business, today, this is the 3rd shop for troubleshooting the bubbles in our radiator, it was a cracked air compressor head on our air compressor, only two air compressor in the US, they got one of them on order, they are very good at getting things done right.
