"I don't understand the negative reviews for this place. The people are great. Anyway, they have evolved into selling liquidated overstock merchandise and they have a great selection. They also have a sister store over on 2nd Street that has most of their 2nd hand merchandise. Both are worth a visit!"

"I have been in here twice and met both Katie and Belinda. They are really down-to-earth, nice people. The prices are super reasonable. The first visit, I was allowed to fill a supermarket hand basket with clothes for $10. On the second visit, I ventured into the back room with all of the dishware and bought 6 pieces for $6 (mugs, baking dishes, etc.). They welcome a friendly haggle. Now, if you are looking for a neat, boutique-like setting, this is not for you. Much of the inventory is in piles and the building is not fancy in the slightest. BUT, if you like a good deal and the thrill of the hunt for treasure, you should check out this place!"

"This shop is fairly new to Newport and I would NOT recommend. Everything is thrown around and extremely disorganized. Many items are not priced and the items that are priced are ridiculously high for a thrift store. For example, a pair of dusty shoes that were sitting in an open box had a original tag of $24.99 and they were asking for the same price. There is a much better thrift store literally 1 or 2 blocks up the road called Pick Of The Litter - which is much more organized and with better yard-sale-low prices - and the proceeds directly benefit a good cause - FOLCAS (Friends Of Lincoln County Animal Shelter)."
