"My overall experience with PODS sucked. I'm giving 2 stars because the delivery drivers were nice and transparent. My initial PODS order was canceled due to the company charging me the day before they were supposed to. I had already paid over 4k on Tuesday to them and has to pay more on what was supposed to be Friday the day of delivery. Well, I got paid on Friday so the funds would have been there. They charged me on Thursday and the funds weren't available. I reached out and was told that it was ok. They would try the card the next morning. I'm like ok good. Well, by the time I got off from work, my order was canceled with us flying out the next morning to go and pack a pod. I then had to teach back out and they started a whole different order. Now, the pod was going to be delivered the Saturday instead. This pushed back our delivery to the house 3 days. The customer service rep said he could squeeze me in on the Saturday instead of Monday since I originally had it being delivered to us on a Friday. Ok cool. Well, Sunday I realize I was charged twice for the same 680 something odd dollars. I called and they told me that it would fall off. It did not. Wednesday, I called again and was told that it was their system because of the two orders and that it was because I made two orders back to back. Ummm, whose fault was that? Furthermore, I don't care at this point. I want my money back. They created a ticket and said to call back the next day. I called back because it still wasn't resolved. They couldn't tell me when it would be resolved. The lady blamed it on the holiday which was Halloween(this is not a federal holiday). I ended up calling my bank because I could not handle it anymore. Then, they changed my delivery date back to the Monday and all the help I had to unload was not available. The positive was I received my items with 1 TV broken, the negative was the whole experience being a headache. I would not recommend."
"PODs chose to deliver their materials where it blocked the sidewalk rather than delivering in the driveway as advised. Their customer service is a call center that takes 30-45 minutes to speak with anyone, when they were alerted to the issue they offered to remove the POD in 2 days, then the call dropped. After the 2 days passed, the POD remained in its hazardous location, another 2 hour call to their customer service allowed me to reserve a pickup in another 2 days. Once the POD was removed I noticed that my credit card was charged for a month of rental, and delivery, as well as charged for another POD at a location that I did not request."
"PODS has left their empty container in front of my house, blocking my parking spot. Nobody answers the phone, there is no way to get rid of this thing. The PODS renter said he put in a request almost two weeks ago to have it removed but still it sits right in front of my door. There does not appear to be any people working for this company."
"Do not waste your money on this service. This is the most unprofessional and unorganized business I have ever attempted to work with. They missed the scheduled drop off date, the scheduled move date, and as I'm writing this, they are 2 days late in picking the containers up. No updates are given and good luck trying to get an associate on the phone or through their chat service. The commercials make this process seem so easy and stress free, but the service they provide makes it anything but."
"I wish I was told some places don't allow street placement for pods. My apartment does not have an accessible driveway or parking for a pod and it led to a very poor experience moving into a new beautiful city. Lack of disclosure cost me more money and time that I had not accounted for and felt like a convenient way to make a sale that I may have otherwise not opted into. The service was great, but my overall experience was ruined by something that could've easily been disclosed, allowing me to plan accordingly."
