"They have improved the outside of these apartments soo much I don't live here just passed by and was shocked at the makeover"
"Before you read on I stayed here sight unseen. Which to anyone moving is a big no no, but hey that's life. The pros of this site are as follows. First the staff is very nice. They were very accommodating of me when I first moved down there all the way from Ohio. They let me pay in installments the pet deposit fee and were very welcoming. Especially the front desk woman, cant remember her name. Second the location is on point. You are extremely close to 210 and the main road college that you can get around Lake Charles or out in a heart beat. Three its cheap. And that's it. Here are the cons. Depending on where they place you in the complex it can be either ghetto as hell or minor ghetto. I'm talking broken Takka vodka bottles, baby diapers, Popeyes Chicken boxes all over the ground. Knife fights in the parking lot. Baby momma drama early in the morning. When I first started to move in dude asked me if I had clean piss to sell for his interview the next day. Dude knocked on my door one night asking where his drug dealer moved to. The laundry facilities, if you wanna call them that, are ridiculously dirty. I don't think there were even doors on the hinges. Anyone can walk in and steal your clothes. The apartment below me was boarded up. Meaning the sliding glass door had a board leaning up against it. So when I came home you can either see a raccoon or stray cats walk in and out. The front door wasn't locked. Took a peek in and boom blood stained carpet right in front of me. If there is heavy rain, which there will be because its Louisiana, it will flood. Asked the girl at the front desk, she said her apartment there flooded three times the year before. Thank the Lord I was on the second floor. The facilities are extremely outdated. Like late 80's outdated. The pools there are never cleaned. So none uses them so they become sewage pools for mosquitoes during the summer. They are never drained during the winter so there's a nice film of leaves to block the sight of green water. The facilities guy will drive his truck over the grass and dirt to get to his office which is literally right around the corner from the parking lot. Making a beautiful collage of tire tracks on the lawn. Is he the only one that does it? Nope. People that live near this courtyard drive their cars to their front doors all the time and start blaring music in the middle of the night/day. They get one star for the friendliness of the staff, location, and price. But hey you get what you pay for."
