"A great stop over on the way between NOLA & Houston. It's pretty to see the lake. The newly refurnished rooms are very comfy, and if there was anything we needed, we asked and we were looked after. Good value for money."
"The hotel was perfect. Staff were super helpful and friendly. The room was smartly renovated and had everything we needed. We had a very pleasant stay here and would definitely book again when we're back in Louisiana lake Charles."
"Three of us stayed here. We had to take an un renovated room as the renovated rooms that allowed three people were all booked so we knew the room wouldn’t be very nice. That was fine but there were several issues. The pull out couch we used for our 7 year old had no bedding. We went to the front desk and asked for bedding. The gentleman brought us a pillow and sheets. When we asked for a blanket he told us that was all”they” gave him but if we wanted to go talk to housekeeping ourselves we could. We did and got the blanket. When we made the bed we found brown stains that appeared to be blood on the sheets and blanket. The indoor pool is not heated. Pretty important detail in February. We chose this hotel because we thought we could swim with our son after a long day of travel. The second reason we chose it was because we thought it was walkable to several restaurants (another review stated this). It’s definitely not walkable to any restaurants. There are no sidewalks so even though the distance to a couple restaurants is short, you would have to cross busy highways and walk along the side of the road to get to them. Overall this hotel is outdated and kind of run down looking. We were happy to have a place to stay on short notice but definitely wouldn’t choose it again. Hopefully it’s better in the future with more renovation."
"Hi Tanya I didn’t stay after the name change but I was there after the Mardi Gras parade I drove around and saw the same trash in the parking lot, the same boarded up windows and dirty pool area. A large roll of trash carpet in the hall way by the pool. I’m not sure what top or bottom you renovated, and these are facts not feeling. I remember you telling me that you don’t feel like your staff is unable to preform there duties This is the former quality inn suites. The only thing that changed is the name. The good reviews are from the managers Facebook friends Still dirty, still covered pool not indoor pool. Go stay at motel 6, they are not good but, they don’t charge a premium like this dump"
"I had a great experience with this hotel, beautifully renovated and super comfortable beds, room was super clean, staff was very nice and accommodating, looking forward for my next stay in April."
