"All I can say is WOW!!! This place is amazing! A home away from home for children. The staff here sees value in each day to day interaction with your child that will make them better people. They teach respect, discipline and of course allow your child to grow into their own. They hold expectations and standards that make your child understand more about the world and how to enjoy life. Thank you so much for all that you do! Keep making a difference in this world especially with our young generation. Beautiful place to know your child is getting the care and support they need."
"Miles of Smiles is my daughter’s home away from home! Not only do her teachers treat her with the greatest compassion and respect, but she has come to love all of the teachers and her classmates like family. We have never had any issues, and have always been met with exceptional care! Miles of Smiles has gone above and beyond to ensure the happiness, education, and safety of my child. We would definitely recommend Miles of Smiles to any parent looking for a daycare facility for their children."
"Fake reviews because someone’s child was removed for the safety of other children? So you get your entire family to give 1 star ratings? People who have never been to the property are leaving reviews. Classy. But it’s obvious what’s happening here. This is truly sad. If you want your kids in an environment where the owner will fight to protect EVERYONE even if it means removing a child that can’t be controlled, then you have made the right decision choosing Miles of Smiles. Amazing daycare with an amazing owner. I’ve witnessed multiple times where the owner was in her office rocking babies to sleep because they loved her that much. She goes above and beyond to make sure her staff and kids are happy and comfortable. The kids have exceptional learning experiences in a great environment. I would recommend this facility over and over again. Please disregard the ignorance in these reviews. I hope google takes care of this soon and doesn’t continue to allow these people to continue to sabotage this amazing daycare."
"My daughter started this daycare over a year ago. This daycare is very clean and organized. My daughter started in the baby room where the teachers were absolutely amazing and patient with me while my daughter transitioned from being exclusively nursed on demand to eating table food. If I checked on her through the app the response was immediate. Once she started walking she went to the 1 year old room where she cried because she does not do well with change. She was allowed a few hours with her old teachers often to help her transition. My daughter has clung to a few teachers in the 1 year old room and I absolutely love it. I haven’t had any bad experiences with this center and would 100% recommend them to anyone."
"CONTINUING… I was informed on Wednesday, May 17th, that both of my children needed diapers, I wrote on the app (Thurs. May 18, 2023) that I would be back shortly to bring them and I would like to speak to admin when I came. Upon arrival, I gave my daughter’s diapers to her teacher and proceeded to speak with the director. I asked to visit my son’s class and then my daughter so I can see their progress and monitor how they are behaving in the environment because like I said previously, it’s different at home. We go to my son’s class, they are outside but she sets up a chair and I have to wait for them to come in. During my wait, where she placed my chair, the other class has kids & they are just being children (looking and wondering). The teacher of that class & I engaged in a small chatter of formalities and whatnot. She buzzed the teacher and told her to ask me to come back to her office, I do & this is where it gets interesting. She then told me that I was not allowed to visit & that I would indeed be a distraction. I asked why & she said because parents cannot just come and visit. (which I find weird because you were literally just letting me visit) I said well my brother was just here and the handbook literally states that I can. She said he didn’t visit both classes, I simply told her “yes, he did because he sent me photos”. She said let me see and I showed her. She says it must have been when she wasn’t there & the assistant director is new and doesn’t know everything yet. She pulled out the handbook and 1) didn’t know that it stated that parent’s can visit & 2) she didn’t even know where it was stated. I easily pointed to the bottom of the page where PARENTAL ACCESS is boldly and underlined. She then told me I needed to schedule a time and see if it works for her… I let her know she can put my kids on the 2 week notice of removal list (per the handbook we have to give that). I begin removing my children’s diapers I just purchased because if this school has issues with anything, it is definitely how many supplies you bring. While I’m retrieving my son’s diapers (from the other building) she follows me and tells me I need to go. I do after I receive my son’s diapers & receive a call from her 5 mins later telling me to come get my kids& the cops are there. I arrive and there are 2 Sheriff vehicles waiting. She walks my son out and then my daughter. I am literally having to reassure them (3&1 years of age) that they didn’t do anything wrong but that they would not be able to see their friends here for awhile. SMH I have so much more to say about my encounter(s) here but I will end this review by taking responsibility for even considering this as a healthy environment to bring my children back to because of the (random closures & high teacher turnover rate) & also because I am a concerned parent who took time from my business to check in with my children’s school and teachers. I cannot help that I followed the handbook’s rules (that were unknown by the staff) but to be denied access to see your child(ren) has to be the FINAL straw for this place. I hope this honestly seen by future and present time parents so they can be very aware of what conditions their babies are in. It is definitely not all the teachers who work here but then again you don’t even get a notice of the new staff names to even know them. In other news, the police officers were very nice and considerate, both of my babies were given sticker badges and smiles. =) [God is GREAT] … ASÉ!"
