"I respectfully disagree with the previous reviewer. I went to Dr. Morvant for a crown. His was the first crown that ever caused me problems. I returned to the office complaining of swollen gums, discomfort, and bad odor only to be sent back home. A subsequent X-ray by the NYU School of Dentistry revealed bone loss secondary to infection. The bone loss was so severe that the crown had to be removed and the tooth EXTRACTED. Dr. Mandracchia, the Clinical Supervisor at NYU, said that had one of her students done my crown she would have failed them. In a letter she wrote to Dr. Morvant the noted deficits included, "Mesial open contact and food impaction. Lingual margin over-extended into biological width. Tissue is red, rolled, and inflamed...crown needs to be redone." Dr. Morvant refunded my money on the condition that I not sue him. Dr. Morvant knowingly implanted an ill fitting crown. So much for best practice and placing the health of a patient before profit."

When drug addicted patients seek drugs from Dr. Morvant and he refuses they often try to discredit his skills on social media. It is a sad day when an addict attempts to negate all the years of quality dentistry performed by Dr.Morvant and his wonderful staff!"
