"We went here for a business plate lunch. Not disappointed. Fried Pork Chop was excellent. Tasty Yams and satisfying rice and beans. Fantastic Corn Bread It’s wonderful how they bring the Corn Bread and a slice of Chocolate Cake out first. Start with dessert! No wait, seated immediately. Friendly home grown service. It’s trusted homemade food that you can depend on for a great lunch in simple Louisiana atmosphere. Will return."

"Delicious home style southern food and a friendly atmosphere. We went there on Wednesday and ordered fried chicken. It was so good. The chicken was juicy and tender, with extra crispy batter. The sides were very nice too. Definitely try out corn bread dressing. It's one of our favorites."
