Flying Burger & Seafood

"A must stop if you’re passing through this part of Louisiana. It’s family run and you can tell the food was delicious I had a crawfish poor boy which came with fries and hush puppies and I had a single cheeseburger both were spectacular definitely the type of food I was looking for in Louisiana. P.S. the owner was the sweetest most friendly person I’ve encountered on the road yet."

"I have been all over America, and the gumbo here is the best I ever had. The burgers large and in charge, and lots of food for your money. Just moved into the area and this is my number one dinner spot for date night, family nights, or just a lunch getaway. The workers are very nice, place is clean, and the food comes fast. Don't be surprised when one of the workers come to your table to make sure everything is going good and checking on your experience. *note* I did not take a picture of everything I ordered."

"What a gem! The staff was super helpful guiding me through what items are or can be made gluten free. Ended up with the fish and shrimp basket, which was fantastic. Husband and daughter both gave the burgers two thumbs up. Oh, and the fries are absolutely addictive!! Pass by any of the chain restaurants nearby and head straight to Flying Burger ... You will not regret it."

"It's a weird spot to be in. I'm giving this resturant a 4 star but I personally wouldn't eat here again. The good: The food was warm when it came out and it came out pretty quickly. It was spotless when we dined. Nothing was out of place. The service was great. Everyone was nice and attentive. The bad: the food just wasn't great. The cole slaw was like wet lettuce lacking any soul. The hush puppies were passable at best. The fries were just limp sticks in desperate need of salt if they were getting an love. The chicken sandwich wasn't a breast. It was some kind of mince that fell apart in your mouth. The fish was fried fine but that's all I can say. The burger was decent enough. It was a fine experience and nothing was done "wrong" it just wasn't worth the price."
