"Interesting park square. There is a real spring or creek that is routed to the surface and through the park. These photos are from the end of winter before the green of the spring started for the year. Definitely worth visiting if you are passing by! Also I'm curious where the old railroad rails were sourced from? Were they once part of Portland expansive trolley system?"
"This small city park packs a lot of great features in it borders. Plants, trees, running water, a pond, ducks, an elevated walk way, a cool wall of train tracks, and more."
"Tanner Springs is an absolute gold standard for an urban park. It is one of Portland Park and Recs best creations and I think it's one of the best places you could stop at for a peaceful afternoon."
"I love love this little gem of a park. Perfect small, urban park. There are signs explaining and describing it's sustainability practices and historical location facts. Which mark some of my fave reasons to love it. Other reasons: places to sit β, pond with creeks running into it β, shady trees and beautiful natural setting, walking paths and ducks."
"Nicely designed park, was really amazed to see that they even had little signs to keep watch of the wildlife so they can maintain species balance in the park. I think it was preying mantis but not sure. Cool place to chill amidst the surrounding buildings and passing by public transportation."
