"Bathrooms are usually always clean and ready to use! There's adequate garbage cans for dog water and other garbage. Nice size area to play with the puppies and the trails are amazing"
"Didn't love the water..it leaves u wondering whether it is safe (very dirty looking). Lots of dogs running around and not so pleasant when they run over your belongings with their sandy paws and shake their fur...not my favorite beach. Best part, their was an small group of musicians in the park."
"I had a fantastic Sunday afternoon here! The park was easily accessible from the nearby bike path, although there were not many places I saw to lock up my bike. There is a parking lot here but it was very full upon my arrival around 4pm. There was a tent where you could rent paddle boards and kayaks (kayaks appeared to be inflatables only). At the waterfront, there is both a beach area and a large dock on the water. I was able to find a spot for my towel and things on the dock no problem even though it was quite busy. The water was perfect for swimming, great temperature and relatively clear. There were quite a few waves from boats passing by, but I (and most of the kids) found them very fun. There are ladders on the dock every 6-8 feet so it's easy to get out when you're ready. The dock does move up and down quite a bit with the waves and my stuff did get splashed pretty well a few times so be aware of that. You can't beat a nice swimming spot this close to downtown with such nice views of both the city and the landscape. I will definitely be coming back here for a swim again in the future!"
"Parked car here and jumped on the Springwater corridor trail for a good 3+3 mile out and back bike ride with kids. Trail is flat with some great views of the river. The park itself is pretty neat. Lots of folks with dogs. There is also river access so see many people get in the water with paddleboats. Also some nice smaller trails to walk along."
"Pretty nice park. Great place to bring your dogs. I went with friends that live in the area and took their dog Lydia. She was able to meet and interact with other dogs and so did we! There were so many adorable furry four legged friends. It was really fun seeing them running around catching disks and balls and having a blast. You can also swim in the Willamette which I took advantage of last year during the summertime. The water felt amazing and it's great to see people out enjoying themselves. The only bummer thing is the bathrooms were closed for the season, which kind of sucks because there's nowhere close to go off you have an emergency. Other than that, is a nice place I'm sure I'll return to eventually."
