Reviews
"I've been going to Canine Resource Center for at least 7 months. My dog gets so excited going down their road she starts barking. Her behavior with other dogs on our street is good. Non agressive. She wants to play. Other dogs will bark at her and she just ignores them. Dog play is good for them. Especially when you only have 1. My dog loves the staff and I think they love her too. I don't have to worry. As a nurse it's a comfort knowing that most have dog first aide training and cpr. Deneese is good about inviting the whole community to everything. As a retired law enforcement officer she's good about that. Service never leaves your blood. You can also get your dogs nails clipped and a bath....kill 3 birds with one stone. Not bad."
"I have been taking my two dogs to the Canine Resource Center for many years now. Deneese and the staff provide quality care and the facility is well kept and clean. I not only board my dogs at the facility but I also have the staff trim their nails as necessary. They always do a stellar job! Thank you Canine Resource Center for always keeping my pups best interest in mind."
"I am not the type to write reviews good or bad however, this time I am so upset and I think it should be known. I had my dog stay at the Canine Resource Center for 18 days and he came back 10 pounds lighter, had cuts, scrapes and bruises on him and terrified of everything and I mean everything oh and not to mention he smelled like straight urine. I called to ask them why my dog is skins and bones with cuts and bruises and was told my dog just has anxiety and loved to run which I get but still something had to have happened. I was basically talked to like I was dumb, which I was told would happen if I called to ask. I went to the vet because he was not acting himself after a few days home and I was told he was underweight and needed to go onto two medications as well as a pro biotic to help his weight and to get him feeling better. I also informed the vet that he had blood in his stool so they did a fecal test and it came back he caught a parasite called giardia which means he was around contaminated water or they let him around other dogs feces. Before anyone can say well how do you know he wasn’t sick before or caught this somewhere else. Well he was a normal weight and super happy now he lost all that weight and is super depressed. I also have plenty of witnesses to say my dog was just fine and healthy before he went to stay at the Canine Resource Center. To top it all off I had to go out of town for my grandmothers memorial which I am going to miss due to this. I now have vet bills and a non unusable plane ticket. I know I’m gonna get excuses once this review is read. I used to recommend this place and now I never will and from what I heard other people say they wouldn’t recommend them either."
"Deneese has saved the life of my lab/Shepherd mix rescue dog, Otis, and my families sanity! Otis is very reactive, especially towards other dogs he doesn't know. I have tried other treat based training, I am a softy and I have always had easy going golden retrievers. Deneese is teaching me how to control Otis around other dogs and the more we work with Otis the more confident he is becoming, we still have a ways to go, but with the training we will make it! I can not thank Deneese enough!"
"We made an appointment to have our dog's nails trimmed here. Denise did the best nail trim our dog has ever had!!! They were nice and short but did not affect the quick. We watched the dogs in the big dog part of the Daycare while we waited and the dogs were having the times of their lives. They were playing together and were being carefully supervised. We would not hesitate to board our dog here if we ever need it in the future."
