"My wife and I were on the south end of Lopez for a month house/pet sitting. We came here several times. The wings and fries are super good. Really enjoyed the friendly staff. The restaurant has daily home made desserts that are tasty. They serve a few beers and cocktails as well. The grocery store is a bit pricey but if you need it, you need it."

"My partner and I were staying on Lopez for 2 days and we came to Southend A LOT. Super friendly people working here, and tons of local product options. We had the best ready made sandwiches ever here. A must for a beach picnic. The Cafe also blew us away! Our server was wonderful and attentive despite being the only one working, and the food was delicious. Get. The. Fries. Also, only one person working the kitchen and the food came out quick and incredible!"

"I stopped here to grab a bite to eat before exploring the island. I got the fish and chips and a house salad and both were very good! The slaw was extra amazing -- it was so fresh and crunchy and the dressing was a bit on the creamier side, not watery. The girl serving me was super attentive and nice. I dropped my knife and I didn't want to make a fuss so I just went about eating but she noticed right away and got me a new one. Everyone on the island is so nice, but this was such a nice first impression :)"
