"It can get super busy in there, especially on a sunny day! The staff is very helpful & willing to go the extra mile. Checking the back room for the unusual or ordering items for you is standard here. People that actually know how to cut a key or mix paint for a good match are not easy to find at every hardware store. Sure you can find better prices online or more selection in a big box store, but when you need it now- this is the place! This is the epitome of the classic, local hardware store. You could drive farther, but why?"

"I called regarding my Honda weedeater. The person I spoke to seemed very helpful and told me to bring it in. I did it was very difficult to fix because the screw had rusted on. However two of the men work together using several tools and finally got the screw off and assembled the head. They only charged me $5.75. I was shocked. They spent probably at least 20 minutes fixing it and they did it right on the spot I didn't have to wait 2 weeks which is true of most other places. All the people were very nice and very competent. I'd recommend this place highly"

"This place is excellent. It is our go to hardware store here on Camano Island. They are well stocked with a full variety of home and farm fix-it needs. Unlike many other services here on the island, the items, including those at the outdoor center are moderately priced. In January (2022) I cleaned up on post holiday decoration and lighting supplies. The employees are extremely helpful and friendly."
