Banfield Pet Hospital

"Spent $1k on x-rays for them to never tell me the results, and then lie about it. X-rays were done on a Friday morning. I was told they could be read as early as Monday. I didn’t hear anything and I called Tuesday to inquire. I was *explicitly* told they had not come back yet, and they’d call when they were. When it got to Thursday and I still hadn’t heard anything, I called again. I was then informed that no, actually they had gotten the results back on Monday, and that they had called me and told me. Funny, I don’t remember talking to anyone. I didn’t have any missed calls in my phone history. In fact, I was questioning myself hard enough to go to my cell phone company and pull up my call records. I didn’t receive any calls that day. Thankfully the x-rays were ‘unremarkable’, which is just what the person who answered the phone told me - I never got to speak to a doctor. I never got any type of contact from Banfield, I had to initiate it, And It took several days of me calling to get any answers, despite them apparently having all the information. Absolutely unacceptable level communication. What would’ve happened if there was something on the X-ray? I’ve had positive experiences at other Banfield locations, but under no circumstances will I return to this one."

"Wait was much longer than expected for simple care and compared to prior experience with this Banfield location. Paperwork/data entry by vet tech took forever when only service was routine vaccines."

"I went to this banfield because the others felt like the walmart of vets. There for the money and get in get out kind of situation. You get 2 minutes with the vet and get out. And i was disappointed that it was the same situation. Anyways thats not even the worst part. The worst part is that while I was there i thought to myself how dirty it was. But thought i was just being annoying and picky. But that wasnt the case. The borders of the place were riddled with nasty, even in the appointment rooms. Not only that but my pup had a flea on him after the vet. I'm 99.99% positive he got it from there as i saw it same night. I had to go get flea meds for him that night. Just avoid, dont go to the fast food of dog care, it's not like you'll save any money...."

"Saying this is the best Banfield location would be an understatement. The DRs and staff at this location are the best I’ve ever seen. We’ve had to go here once (sometimes twice a week) because one of our cats fell incredibly ill. After one cat, all our cats become ill from a rare disease that we assume our newly adopted kitten brought home. After tests, we were given a few options on diagnoses and some antibiotics to try - it was a super stressful, rough, awful time for us because we weren’t sure how much time we had. I called them various times per day and the staff greeted me each time with patience and love, and we finally got improvements with all our cats and they are all doing well! We have seen all the doctors at this location within the last couple weeks, and ALL of them are so amazing and absolute angels on earth. I can’t recommend this location enough, I was coming in there from crying all day and having tons of panic attacks and they treated me and my babies with so much love and care. If we ever move, we will travel miles in order to get seen at this location!"

"I can’t thank enough Dr. Boutette , nurse Erin for taking my fur baby in for an emergency surgery that saved his life when other Banfield’s wouldn’t. I can say that Dr. Boutette is one of the most caring and compassionate vets I’ve meet as if only of the way she started the call when calling me after the surgery by simply saying “everything is fine, he is fine” and setting my mind and heart to rest and one can say, she cares. This is important and makes a difference. It also told me she does care about the pup and owner alike. I am forever grateful for Erin kindness also, the way she reassured me my pup is in good hands and yes, he was. My experience with the people that took care of my pup when it mattered the most and saved his life, was amazingly positive. My pup is healing well thanks to the wonderful hands of Dr. Boutette and her team."
