"The staff here are truly excellent here and really care about your pet. The entire process from start to finish preparing me for my dog’s surgery and post-op care was clear, well explained, professional, and supported with excellent documentation and information. Dr. Kiefer performed an incredible procedure to save my pups ear (and life) and I’d recommend him and this center to anyone."

"I can’t say thank you enough to the whole team at Blue Pearl & especially Dr. Cioffi. Vera has required multiple surgeries to get her in working order. They have communicated in full detail every step of the way. I feel supported in Vera’s care team for recoveries."

"Used them twice. First dog broke his leg and this was the only place to get in without waiting weeks. Had Dr Jordan and everything went well. Price was in the middle of the ranges we had been quoted by various surgical centers. A year later and dog is still doing well. Second dog had a Luxating patella so Dr Jordan was called upon again. 8 weeks since surgery and she is is doing well. Will be heading in relatively soon for the other knee. Highly recommended!"

"We took our dog to VSCP, 10245 SW Park Way in Portland after a visit to our regular vet. We wanted to get a consultation on whether she had torn the cruciate ligament and would require surgery. We met with Dr. Chris Jordan, after he assessed our dog (physical manipulation and took images). He was excellent. He communicated clearly, answered all of our questions, and suggested follow up communication because he saw no significant issues with her knee(s) at this time. Our dog is super anxious when visiting any vet. Dr. Jordan and his team were very sweet to our girl and made her very comfortable throughout the visit. We would definitely return to this clinic and specifically request Dr. Jordan."

"Our 6 month old border collie was diagnosed with osteochondrosis of his shoulder and needed surgical repair. After extensive research we decided the Veterinary Surgical Center of Portland was our best option. Not only did they have the most affordable prices around, but they went above and beyond caring for our pup. When we called in to check on him early in the morning (as he had to stay over night) he had not done well overnight in the crate so the techs let him out to lay by their side instead. We felt so comforted by their care. As for the surgery, Dr. Kiefer also did a phenomenal job, as our boy has made a full recovery and is back to running/jumping/playing as he should be! We were told by our vet that there was a good chance he would not recover fully, but thanks to the team at the Veterinary Surgical center, we are as happy and healthy as can be!"
