"The team at Sumner always takes care of my babies, last night we had to use the ER for the first time, and even tho it felt like forever (doesn’t it always when it comes to our babies), they got my pup in and labs and all the things really quickly! They were very caring, and gentle. They answered all my “silly” questions and didn’t make me feel bad for asking. While we have a long road to recovery, I feel better knowing Sumner Vet is in my corner!"

"Our dog got into a fight with her brother. When we headed out at 6pm she was bleeding on top of her head and from her mouth. It was the closest emergency vet open. I wish I'd read reviews 1st. We checked in, waited 2 hours in our car, checked to see if there were any time estimates. Nothing. Ended up waiting for almost 4 hours before leaving. They called my phone almost 3 HOURS later. I highly recommend Booster pet at 176th and Meridian. I was able to make an appointment for today, they took her back right away. She needed 3 staples in her head, pain meds, anti inflammatory meds, antibiotics, and lab work. Very kind staff, in and out in 2 hours. Won't ever try Sumner again. The facility looks nice but from other reviews it isn't run well."

"My baby is almost 19 years old. She is doing so well for her age, but despite that I could not find a groomer near our home in Bonney Lake that would take her, or that would get back to me at all. We've taken her to Muddy Paws in Auburn for the past 8 years & have loved it. The only issue is the drive and traffic. We were recommended Sumner Vet by one of the local groomers, and I regret taking their word for it. Upon arrival everything was fine. It seemed like everything was going to go well. I felt like they were going to be able to groom her just as Muddy Paws is able to, but with the added bonus of being at a vet, should any kind of health emergency occur, soley due to her age. I got a call about 90 minutes after dropping her off asking me to come pick her up. They decided that they didn't think she was going to make it through the whole grooming due to her heart racing. I was a bit surprised at how soon they stopped. From the description on the phone it sounded like they gave her a decent trim at least. No bath. I felt grateful that they seemed so caring about her. So I came to pick her up, and they had me check out before bringing her out. I was stunned when I saw that it she didn't look much different, worse even. This was not worth $62 :( the full grooming would have been $77."
