"This is THE place to go for anything tango related in Portland (in Oregon, and arguably in the country)! The studio itself is full of character and serves as a monument to Argentine Tango dance, music, and culture. Tango Berretin has regular tango dance lessons, parties (called milongas), and occasionally live tango music. Alex, who runs Tango Berretin is a great teacher, musician, and all around good guy! I can't recommend this place enough for anyone who has an interest in Argentine Tango!"
"This was a fun night out. My wife and I went to the class and it was great for beginners. Met folks with all kinds of experience and everyone was great about teaching tango. They had free snacks too which was nice after the dancing. I'd recommend trying the class if you haven't done it before"

He broke everything down into easy-to understand language with a focus on technique, making sure I could replicate what he was demonstrating correctly before moving on.
