"Absolutely wonderful shop with very kind people. I went in knowing little about free diving and felt very well respected and attended to. Looking forward to testing out all my new gear!"
"I for certified here when I was 14! They were and still are awesome. Learning to dive in the PNW set me up for success because everywhere else is eaaaaasy! Be prepared the puget sound is a rough place to do your first OW if they’d till do it there! "
"We were looking to get certified with PADI before an upcoming trip. Read reviews of the local companies with classes. I came into the shop and met with Jen, who gave me the “low down” on prices for Open Water Certification, classes available, and private ones if needed. Due to our short time frame before our trip, we opted for private lessons. Jen worked behind our back to get us an instructor within a week, and helped set us up for the whole pool/open water session. We can’t thank her enough for her help getting this going so quickly. Our instructor, Garth, just completed his 1,000th dive, and was more than willing to jump in on short notice to certify us. Besides being incredibly patient and kind, Garth reallllllllllly worked with us when we were anxious, took a long time on skills, and ensured our safety the whole time. In fact, that was Garth’s motto the whole time: safety. We couldn’t recommend Thunder Reef Divers more, or Garth. They have been a joy to “work” with and can’t wait to come back for supplies (oh yeah, discounts if you do your classes with them)!"
"My family was certified at Thunder Reef and it was an amazing experience. The instructors are professional and patient. The staff at the shop have always been amazing and knowledgeable when it comes to diving, especially Jen. We took our first organized trip with a group to Figi. Everything was taken care of and far exceeded our expectations. Jen did an amazing job putting the trip together and was always there to make sure everything went as planned. My family and I can’t thank her enough for her professionalism, her knowledge and her willingness to make this trip truly rememberable for everyone who went."
"Pretty standard dive shop, nothing special. The two times I've been in there, no one else has been there and the "staff" are to busy sitting around to be of any help. Just picked up a tube of aquaseal yesterday to fix up my wetsuit and the unopened tube was completely cured, so that was a waste of time and money. I want to support a local dive shop, but I really can't support this place. I guess they are good for air fills, that's about it."
