"Bartells is forcing me to be off meds for a few days. Sent in a refill request on Monday and it still didn’t get filled on Thursday. Considering their extremely long current wait time I started a transfer request to another pharmacy and they cancelled my order without informing me. Called the pharmacy and the employee treated me extremely coldly and said there’s nothing they can do for me at this moment. I was holding off on the 1-star review for a long time despite the insane wait time, thinking that it’s not the employees’ fault. I even planned to post a 5-star review to counter the flood of bad reviews that this store has been getting. But now I really see that they have no care or empathy for their customers and the 1-star reviews are 100% deserved."

"DO NOT come here for prescriptions. I’ve been coming here for 2 years and never had problems but recently they have been understaffed and have lack of customer service. I waited over 45 mins in line for my prescription since their new hire wasn’t properly trained and took 5 mins per customer. What a waste of time, go elsewhere."

"Always a terrible time picking up prescriptions at this bartells. They seem to respond to all of these 1 star reviews as if they care, and I’ve given them over 10 tries over the last year. The line never looks very long, but it takes a laughably long amount of time for the (always) single cashier to help each person. Usually 5-10minutes, but sometimes more. I know there are weird situations to deal with. I know some of them really try to work quickly. But literally every single pickup, even on different times & days, is just horrendous. Do not use this pharmacy. When you get to the front, 50/50 chance on if they’ll even have your prescription. Says it’s ready for pickup online? Maybe it is, maybe it isn’t. They may even tell you it’s not there only to realize it is. Or vice versa! It is literally faster to bus to a different bartells, pickup, and bus back. I am not wasting any more time on these HOUR LONG refill pickups. Shame on me for giving them any more chances. Truly unacceptable."

"Get your prescription filled somewhere else. As other reviews mention, lines are almost always 15+ people long and move very slowly with 1 hr long wait times. They also take over a day or two to fill prescriptions once received (so don’t bother trying to pick it up any earlier - you’ll just be wasting your time). I’ve been trying to pick up my prescription for four days now. First they said they didn’t have one on file for me (had to have my physician resend), then they didn’t have it filled after it was resent and more than a day had passed."

"I'm extremely disappointed with Bartell Drugs following their merge with Rite Aid. This pharmacy chain used to be great, but now that it's under new corporate management the wait times at the Queen Anne pharmacy are incredibly long. Expect to wait at least 30 minutes in line before speaking with the pharmacy team. And don't be surprised if they don't have your prescription filled when it's finally your turn to speak with them. I imagine that this is because Rite Aid closed 3+ Bartell Drugs stores in downtown Seattle in a relatively short period of time. It's a mess and I recommend finding a different pharmacy to fill your prescriptions."
