"Like all retail spots in Seattle, this Walgreens is short staffed and theft is just an accepted part of our new economic life. Just watching people fill their backpacks with items and walking out with no one even acknowledging it is so infuriating to people that actually pay for their items. It is unbelievable. There is always a huge line for the pharmacy, there is one “person” working there, that is a complete jerk to everyone. She/they are miserable and it is apparent. Most of the time your prescription isn’t even ready, even though you will receive multiple phone calls and emails from the automated notification stating that it is. It happens basically every month and they always ask to come back in 2 hours unless you get annoyed then somehow they miraculously have it ready as soon as you drive out of the parking lot. It sucks. I don’t blame the workers. (Except the person that is a jerk) I am sure that working in an environment that every single person that you interact with is not receiving decent or even minimal customer service feels frustrated and that their time is wasted just trying to get medicine is not an easy thing to do. It is Seattle’s politics and the passive wimps that run corporations like Wal-Greens fault. Pay people so that you are not short staffed. Hire a security guard to at least attempt to deter thieves. But I guess it doesn’t matter for places to protect the consumer or value their time. The get their insurance coverage for theft and they also get to raise the prices even higher because regular people that do the right thing are the sucka’s of the community. I want to say do better, but we all know it is never going to happen."
"Live nearby and this store is so poorly stocked. We can never purchase routine needed items. I’ve been to MANY Walgreens across WA and the US and this one is the worst I’ve ever seen. I can’t even get them to answer the phone to check on a prescription. They put you on hold then the system hangs up on you. I agree with others reviews. Not sure how it exists. Do business elsewhere."
"I wish there was a 0 stars option. One star for...existing...I guess... tl;dr if you can use a different pharmacy, do it. Unfortunately for me, I save a lot on my prescription if I use CVS so this is my nearest option. Adding my feedback to the echo chamber of "worst pharmacy" reviews. Setting aside the amount of time you'll waste in line (especially when they can't have the drive-thru open due to staffing issues). My biggest qualms: 1. I have my reoccurring prescription set on auto-fill and it has never been filled on time. Not once. Even when I call to let them know that I'm out of a prescription I must take daily...it still takes another 24 hours. There's really no point to auto-fill with them. 2. Recently I paired number 1 with being quarantined with no car, so I was thrilled to see a same-day delivery option. I selected delivery and the website said it would be to my house by 3:00pm (several hours later). My prescription never came. I called the next (this) morning to ask if it will be delivered and they said they have someone scheduled to pick it up at 3:00pm. I'm currently waiting for it so here's to hoping!"
"I second that this has to be one of the worst Walgreens. I called yesterday to check on a prescription and was told it hasn’t come in yet. I called back 2hrs later and was put on hold for literally 90 minutes. I called back again and was put on hold again for 30 min. Then finally someone picked up the phone then hung it up immediately. When you finally get ahold of someone they are rude and unhelpful."
"If I could give this location ZERO Stars I would. This has to be the worst Walgreens in America. I am not being dramatic here. I have been to Walgreens all over the U.S. and this one is by far the worst. First, the store is dirty and the parking lost is always populated by local groups that use it as a hang out. Inside the issues continue. The store is never well stocked and more often than not, they are completely out of routine items such as deodorant, soap, toothpaste or hair colorings. The pharmacy is no better. They are very slow and will just out right ignore Doctors calling in prescriptions for patients, then lie and say no one ever called them (there may be some prescription theft going on). They seem to never be able to fill a prescription on auto-refill right, they are either late or too early and will completely miss prescriptions which you have to remind them about and then have to wait for. For example, I had a blood pressure medication on auto-refill, I got a text message that it was ready for pick-up, but when I arrive, they say it is not ready yet, this continued for 3 days in a row. In the 4th day, when I was on my last pill, I had to go to the pharmacy and get upset and demand they refill my prescription as I was not putting my health at risk because of their incompetence. Second example, my Doctor called in a new prescription for a sedative for an outpatient procedure. Their office confirmed the prescription was sent to Walgreens, but when I call Walgreens, they claim no one has called them. I call my Doctor, he confirms he called and then proceeds to call in the prescription AGAIN. Walgreens still claims no one has called them. My Doctor and I confirm he has the right information and are calling the correct Walgreens and make one more call to inform the location about the prescription, and guess what, the Pharmacy STILL claimed no one called in a prescription. My doctor had to provide me a sedative from his own stock the day of the procedure. This being a controlled substance, one has to wonder if something shady is going on there. There seems to be zero effort put into this location from the, pharmacy or management. Walgreens really need to send some auditors to this location."
