"Cheaply built, trash over flows & black mold in the units. Because of how cheaply made the units are you can hear every little thing your neighbor does. The floors creak constantly and are extremely hallow so you will learn quickly that your quality of sleep depends solely on your neighbor and their activity levels."
"Military Personnel BEWARE!!! The positive reviews are false. These apartments are literally horrendous. The office staff is dismissive, condescending, & lack common decency. I’ve literally had arguments with Tracy & Tiffany on numerous occasions. These arguments were because they had our vehicle towed (we out of of town for my father-in laws funeral & directly after my husband was deployed). I was told by Tracy that I should have communicated with the office & let them know we were leaving town - she never answers the phone if Tiffany isn’t in the office. Considering we payed monthly for parking and I’m a grown adult, I never thought that would be an issue. We went months without a properly working refrigerator, had to argue with Tiffany in order to get a new one. They would do mold checks monthly - only to just spray said black mold with bleach or paint over it. We paid a $150 cleaning fee upon move-in and the house had cat hair all over it, dirty counters & toilets. I only stayed there for 3 years because we never knew when we were set to PCS. Whenever I communicate my complaints about my unit or the offices lack of communication, I was told “they can’t make up for what the previous office staff didn’t do” never offering a solution. During that 3 years I watched the apt turn arounds happen so fast, there was no way proper fixes (outside of new carpet /hardwood applied) or cleaning ever happened. I never saw one unit cleaned. They depend on the previous tenants to clean the unit but, still charge the new tenants a cleaning fee. I literally seen the unit tenants upstairs move out on a Tuesday and by Wednesday someone else pulled up with a moving truck. The dumpster trash would overflow constantly, which caused an issue with gnats, birds, rats and cats. Peoples cars were towed constantly from free parking spaces. The first 2 years of living here, I couldn’t get one person on the phone consistently to renew our lease. That would cause us to have to pay the “month to month” additional fees. We moved into the unit under assumption that it was “all inclusive”. Want to know what’s included? Well it’s water, trash and gas of course. Even though we had no gas hook ups or trash pickups. If the RPP office screwed up the paperwork for payments, moved too slow or The Harrison didn’t submit the paperwork needed for payouts (which was often) we were harassed for money. But, if we had an issue in our apartment no one would make sure it got handled & would go silent. I found myself repeating things to the new and old staff constantly because they don’t even communicate with each other. I was extremely stressed and anxious dealing with this property and it’s staff. We moved out in Sept of 2023,. I informed them in December of 2022 that we were probably going to PCS. I let them know so that I could get the unit ready for our departure. We were told by Tracy & the maintenance staff that we didn’t have to repaint or replace the carpet etc. Tracy signed the RPP move-out clearance form with Tiffany present, stating we owed them a $0 balance . In actuality we had a $200 credit placed on the account that was owed to us. Now here it is several months later and we are getting charged $1800 for carpet replacement. We live in Texas now and have a great office staff and unit & they actually live up to the all included advertisement. But, unfortunately I now have to find an attorney in Washington to handle these scammy, scummy apartments. Seriously, I never write reviews like this.. this place should be avoided. There are 3 apartments on the same street with ample parking, great office staff and bigger units. Avoid The Harrison Apartments like the plague."
"Tracy was the best and most helpful manager I could’ve asked for. She took time and care with finding me the right apartment that fit my needs and wants while staying within my budget. She answered all my questions and attended to any inconvenience that may have occurred with the utter most care and professionalism."
"I would make it 3 stars because we have been having some issues in the area as of late however I believe management is starting to handle the violations and issues at the complex and I believe in time this place will be in great shape. Also because of people like Don and Tracy being so personable and polite. It truly makes wanting to stay here a bit longer easier."
"Honestly, I used to love living in apartment complex when I first moved in in 2019. The management was great and responsive. However, after 2020 management and became almost unresponsive, condescending, and seemingly predatory. on more than one occasion Tracy spoke to me in a condescending manner in which she was insulting my intelligence, she also will give you false information such as the window required to submit a move out form( it’s 20 days not 30). I honestly wish Erika would’ve stayed as the manager. Her and the whole staff she had behind her were great. The new apartment complex management is terrible. On more than one occasion my apartment was flooded by my upstairs neighbors and the emergency maintenance number never responded. Overall good area to live in; just not in this complex or with any Neiders complex to be homest"
