"Like a few others here, I’m not a customer. I am just shocked by the level of all day every day screaming the kids do in the playground, when it is located in the middle of an apartment complex. I work from home, and the amount of screaming is unbelievable, even though I live on the opposite side of the courtyard. I feel for the people who live adjacent to the playground. The noise is out of control. Today when I went to pick up my mail, the kids were all screaming frantically and I realized it was the adult who was hiding and screaming “RAAAAAHRR!” to scare them and chase them and make them scream. Over and over. This seems to be their strategy every day, all day. Not sure much education is happening, and it’s extremely rude given the location. Please, if any of you read this who work there, please please please try some quiet activities. Think about how you would feel if you had to live and work here. Thank you."
"This review is for their Wilsonville location that opened January 2024 and we were one of the few new families. During our tour, the OWNER hyped up the many services the school offered - & after filling out required enrollment forms, we were absolutely MISLED from the information provided from the tour because we did not receive the promising services. No lunch meal was provided, the sudden change of operation hours, & my son (2 y/o) engaging with older kids that was not his age group. Attempted too many times contacting the OWNER & DIRECTOR of these concerns and they have both been UNRESPONSIVE - it would take days, if not weeks & follow ups to get their attention. All to say, proceed with caution at this Wilsonville location - the OWNER, Deanna & DIRECTOR, Brittney are very passive AND experts at ghosting when it comes to conflicts and/or resolving issues - at least in our experience. Tip for parents CONSIDERING this daycare: their policy is really vague and their parent handbook policy is covered with "we can change our policy at any given time" so be aware that they can quickly change whatever they need to do in their favor to which can leave parents like us really unhappy with the steep tuition they require.. if I can leave 0 stars, I would."
"My son went to this childcare center 4 years ago. It was his first experience with any childcare setting due to Covid. We were excited and grateful because he was offered 3 months for free. I think this was an attempt to bring in a child of color. The tuition was more than anyone I know could afford. The problem is that the school and staff were not equipped or really willing to deal with any challenges unique to having a black child attend or a child who was not on board with their activities. The owner told me my son was autistic (I would be fine if he was) and rescinded an offer for very reduced tuition . He began to cry before drop off and refused to in. He is older now and tells me how scared he was because it was his first time being away from us. Also, the kids (mostly white) didn’t play with him. If you’re going to claim to be all about social justice, your actions should reflect that. Also, the staff turnover was horrendous."
"Not a customer of Wow & Flutterville but can’t help being bothered by the all day screaming that doesn’t seem to be corrected. While children need to be able play and express themselves, there is a way to do that respectfully for the neighborhood without encouraging constant shouting outdoors."
"This daycare encourages children to scream at the top of their lungs constantly when playing out doors. On top of that, they provide toddlers with drums, tubs, and bells - creating an unbelievable amount of noise that permeates every single home and apartment within several blocks. Wow & Flutterville have zero respect for their neighborhood and community. Entitled is the word that comes to mind."
